time in Japan we have succeeded in producing a water-soluble vitamin E
glycoside and have obtained patents in Japan and abroad. When Vitamin
E is drawing considerable attention as an antioxidant, an agent that prevents
oxygen from functioning, this water-soluble Vitamin E glycoside is expected
to open up even greater possibilities in our medical and health fields.
We are also developing health food for allergies. |

is the cause of aging, cancer, arteriosclerosis, etc. As shown in TV programs
on health, you must be aware of the negative effects of active oxygen
on the human body. However, vitamin E is not water-soluble and it is active
within the oil layer of the human body. So it does not function well as
an antioxidant for active oxygen that is produced in the water layer.

| By using a certain enzyme reaction,
sugar has been successfully linked to Vitamin E homologues resulting in
a water-soluble compound. This has been called Vitamin E Glycoside. Vitamin
E Glycoside is an antioxidant which not only dissolves in water but can
penetrate the oil layer. Therefore much is expected from its properties
which ordinary Vitamin C and E do not have. We are already seeing some
unexpected beneficial effects in animal models. |

| The number of pollinosis patient
is estimated to be 10 million -15 million and allergies are to be considered
national diseases. CCI has been developing anti-allergenic health foods
with herbs, and hopes in the future to develop them further as products
for human health. |

DM group has developed the "DIPOLGY
technology" to substantially absorb the energy of sound, vibration,
shock and electron wave. We have applied for patents over 33 countries
around the world. DIPOLGY "Soundproofing Foam", "Damping
Sheet" and "Sound Absorption Film" as high-performance
new materials, have been marketed. These high-performance absorption
products incorporating this technology will be more extensively
marketed.

The polymer material contains much amount
of fire retardants.@ This results material physical performance
decreasing, gas generation and mold stain.@
To solve these problems, hybrid technology between a few inorganic
filler and nano leveled fire retardant to achieve the fire retardancy
has been researched and developed.
